I love this time of the year. The food, the smells, the colors — Ahhhh. One thing I like the most is WS Butternut Squash Puree. It makes the best soup. This is not a joke, it really does. In fact it’s so good I stock up jars and jars of the puree so I can make it year round. Exaggeration? Maybe the year part was, but I do buy jars so I can make as much as I can for as long as I can. This season only comes around once a year and I like it to last longer than it actually does.
So go buy the jar, or better yet jars of Butternut Squash Puree — Yummmmmm.
Tip: The recipe use to call for apples, but does not this year. I recommend adding apples, it makes it that much better.
